sea : Salt water. Connected to oceans. Bigger than a lake. Smaller than a continent. Mostly wet.
system : Parts working together. Blood, heart, vessels. Trains, tracks, signals. Storms, wind, heat. If it’s organized, it’s a system.
tropical cyclone : The engine. Warm water. Strong wind. 119 km/h minimum. Rain. Hurricanes (Atlantic). Typhoons (Pacific). Names change. Damage doesn’t.

Could a storm last forever?

Energy fuels it. Moisture feeds it. The jet stream guides it. If the conditions stay constant, why should it stop?
